Here are a couple videos I feature on my YouTube channel, Awesome Cameras.  Awesome Cameras started as a traditional blog where I shared my interest and knowledge of analog photography with the viewers.  But then quickly shifted to video, as I saw video was a better way to express, explore, educate, and entertain my audience.  YouTube was the perfect platform to build this community.
I wanted to make more entertaining videos; something that looked like a music or skate video, something more interesting other than what was being offered at the time, and show the photos in a more interesting way that wasn’t so boring.  Most videos were just someone talking to the camera or a basic slideshow of images.  I wanted to show the viewer more context on when and how the photos were taken, explain why I took the photos, and share the end results…What I’d do differently if I could shoot them again, different camera settings, or different film stock, more/less contrast etc.
I’ve established myself as thought leader in the analog community, organically built an audience of 22,000 on YouTube, while building brand awareness, and helping the success and driving traffic to my e-commerce store where I sell the cameras and film I feature in my videos.
I concept, storyboard, plan shot lists, film, narrate, edit, handle all post production, and upload to YouTube with all appropriate keywords and SEO.
This is another series of videos I created to show an entire roll of film that I have shot, and explain what went into making each photograph, techniques and what I may have done differently if I were to take the photos again.
